Day 1

Morning
Eat a hearty breakfast and prepare for a day filled with history, vibrancy and a standing ovation.


Unionville

Beautiful historic buildings, mills and churches line Unionville’s Main Street, showcasing the 18th century legacy of the town’s first settlers. Peppered with boutiques, cafés and galleries, Main Street delights all the senses. Enjoy a refreshing walk along storefronts or forested pathways that wind their way around the village. Unionville is also home to quaint festivals and “pedestrian-friendly” holiday shopping days. Horse-drawn carriage rides, a heritage railway and open-air performances add to the joyful, relaxing atmosphere you’ll find just minutes away from Toronto.

Afternoon
From casual to decadent, treat yourself to lunch at one of Unionville’s many restaurants. Then continue exploring the town’s diversions in the afternoon.

Getting There:
By car: Take Hwy. 401 East or West, exit at Warden Ave. and drive north to Hwy. 7. Turn right and take Hwy. 7 east to Main St. Click here for a map.

Evening

Entertainment District

As the undisputed entertainment capital of Canada, the Entertainment District is a lively concentration of stages, restaurants, nightspots, retail shops, and attractions — all located in the vibrant city core. Walk along King Street to see Canada’s Walk of Fame, where our stars of stage, screen, song and specialty are honoured. In Toronto there’s always a show to see ― thanks the city’s ever-increasing community of imaginative actors, musicians, dancers, comedians, singers and more.

Golf

The Greater Toronto Area scores well with over 300 golf courses within an hour’s drive of downtown, including signature courses designed by some of the world’s top golf architects. Enjoy the great outdoors and a challenging round at your own pace, whether playing nine holes or the full course.

Afternoon

West Queen West

Toronto's distinctive West Queen West Art and Design District is a neighbourhood full of unique boutiques, restaurants and a diverse collection of galleries. Over the past decade, this area has been revitalized by an influx of custom retailers, designers and artists ― rewarding shoppers with original fashions, art and home furnishings. This eclectic street is home to antiques and Art Deco, beautiful Trinity Bellwoods Park and inspiring meals at intimate cafes and laid back bistros. It’s a chic yet friendly community, bustling with culture and creativity for all to enjoy.
